Doris is a native of Ndokwa West, Ukwani speaking people in Kwale, Delta State. She lives in Abuja. She works in the Law Making Arm of Government. Since 1995, Doris has developed her career to the top Management cadre in the Parliament of Nigeria, National Assembly, House of Representatives.

She is an Administrator, a Motivational Leader, an innovator/organizer in her service to the Federal Government. Doris has served in several Standing Committees as Clerk to the Parliament amongst which is the Ad-hoc Committee on the Review of Petroleum Pump Price (PMS) in collaboration with the NNPC and other Stakeholders in the industry.

A Clerk to the Defence Committee that oversees the Armed Forces, Nigeria Army, Nigeria Navy and Nigeria Air-Force in liaising with the Parliament. She heads the Department of Journal and Documentation in the House of Representatives. A Member of the technical committee on the review of Banks and its facilities in NASS.

Doris was able to rise to the top management position because of her systematic and logical approach to set targets. Her excellent interpersonal communication skills have been her strong motivator in her leadership drive and inter relationship with colleagues and others.

She is a fellow member of a Professional body; the Institute of Security Studies. She have participated in several leadership conferences, training Workshops/Seminars in East Legion Accra Ghana, Sweden, USA, UK, South African, Nigeria etc.

She has some unpublished books on Committee System a Veritable tool for Legislation and Federalism and Foreign Policy. Doris is a multi-talented individual who has spanned beyond two decades in her career in the Executive Arms and Legislature.

Her quest for volunteerism in community services and humanity brought her to African Women Leadership Organization (AWLO) as a registered substantive member/Coordinator of Abuja chapter in FCT. She has contributed immensely to the visions and goals of AWLO with several projects amongst which is 1mother1child Educational programme for internally displaced persons (IDP) in the North East of Nigeria, I-Lead project for young talented secondary school girls in Federal Government schools in Abuja.

Doris is a Bsc. graduate of Political Science, in the University of Abuja, and holds a Master degree in International Relations with other professional certificates.

She is a Mother, a Woman Leader, a Counselor, a Teacher and an aspiring politician.
