Karmetria Dunham Burton, PhD, is Director, Supplier Diversity for Delta Air Lines. In this position she is responsible for developing and executing a global Supplier Diversity program while enhancing the processes to assist Delta Air Lines to achieve its vision of being an industry leader of making minority and women owned businesses (MWBEs) a natural and integral part of the way the company does business. Karmetria has worked in strategic sourcing in various national and international corporate settings including Xerox, AT&T and Union Pacific Railroad. Before Delta, Karmetria was supplier diversity manager for IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group).

A well-respected authority in supplier diversity, she has won multiple awards for her leadership, and is a contributing writer for MBE magazine that focuses on minority business development. Her work and her passion has gained her notoriety in several publications: Black Enterprise, AMOI and Diversity Inc. In 2015 she was awarded the InfluenceHER award and was featured in the June issue of Black Enterprise magazine for her work at Delta Air Lines in supplier diversity, along with being awarded as one of the top 25 women of Atlanta.

Karmetria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Southern University-Baton Rouge, La., and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and a DBA from Argosy University Atlanta. Dr. Burton has instructed business, procurement and diversity related courses at Kennesaw State University as well as Shorter College, Strayer University, Georgia State University and Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y. Dr. Burton is a sought out speaker of women’s organization, youth empowerment groups and entrepreneur forums.

As the Founder/CEO of African Women’s Health Project International (AWHPI), she leads an international non-profit groups that focuses on empowering women globally thru access to healthcare, economic empowerment, agriculture and trade associations, cultural developments, and partnerships. Founded in 2003, today, it is active in 12 major American cities and groundworks is underway for the launching of a major health-care initiative in spring 2018: building Local Community Health Clinics. She is the producer and organizer of the African Health Conference and Symposium in the USA and coordinates free medical missions in Africa, and the Convener of the Annual Global Summit on Women Empowerment at the United Nations Headquarters, NY.

Princess Ogunlana was recently inducted at the UCT in United Nations as an Ambassador of Culture uniting USA - China - Africa; by promoting Culture, Development and Health wellness among the women of the World; and promoting Peace Building. In 2014, she was inducted as an Ambassador for Peace by the Universal Peace Federation (Nigeria chapter) at the United Nations, and currently serves as the International Coordinator for the Nigerian Ambassador for Peace in the Diaspora Initiatives. She is the Visioneer of the just concluded 2014 New York International Elite Global Councilwoman Summit and the 2016 First Ladies Forum and Economic Development Summit in Washington, DC and “The Councilwoman” Pinning Inductions at the United Nations. Furthermore, she was just appointed to the Board of Governors of the Global Institute for Human Excellence, and admitted as a FELLOW with THE GLOBAL INSTITUTE FOR HUMAN EXCELLENCE. Uduak Archibong is Professor of Diversity at the University of Bradford, UK, where she directs the Centre for Inclusion and Diversity and provides strategic oversight for equality and diversity across the institution.

She obtained a BSc (First Class) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria in 1990 and a PhD from Hull University in 1995. She is Visiting Professor at several international universities, a Fellow of the West African College of Nursing and a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing. She is a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Uduak is recognised as a thought leader in inclusion and diversity and currently leading in setting agenda to drive research, learning and knowledge exchange activities internationally. She has a sustained, distinguished presence in the field of diversity management and much of her work has focused on inclusive workplaces, representative diversity, diversity-competent leadership in public, private and third sector organisations.

In 2016 she was ordained as a Christian Pastoral Minister by Bishop Christopher Cox, Member of the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops, Senior Pastor of Family Life Worship Center, Elmont, New York. Along with H.E. Cairo Eubanks, she serves at the United Nations, as the Director of Education for a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO),Olof Palme Peace Foundation Intl (OPPFI). Dr. Diane and Dr. Willis have produced THE GODSU AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY BIBLE, which highlights current graduates.

Dr Violet Arene has over the years acquired a rich Professional background inking impact and development as Education Administrator from 1972 – 1980 at the Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria where she spent sixteen years, eight months, and pioneered the Guidance and Counseling Function. She also majorly contributed to the New Education policy of 6-3-3-4 system.

From 1980 to 1991 she worked at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, climbing the ranks from Assistant Chief personnel Officer, and retired statutorily from NNPC as General manager of NNPC for five years, having completed 36 years, 8 months in the Public Service. To date she remains actively involved in Management Consultancy.

Dr. Violet Arene is the founder of the Voice of Eve TV Program, and Young Women Innovators Club. She retired as a Zonal/Area Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for Province Six.

She is  the Global Youth Matron of the African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO), championing the preparation of the next generation female leaders and serving as a Board Member on the organization’s Board.

Idee Okpok is an ordained Pastor and an entrepreneur,. He is also an author, speaker life coach and leadership consultant. He founded the Redeemer’s Sanctuary International Ministries in Atlanta Georgia and Third World Reculture Initiative (3DW) which seek to eradicate extreme poverty in the Third world through good leadership training programs and initiatives aimed at sociologically evaluating the effect of certain third world cultures and beliefs on the general outcome of the populace.

Idee Okpok was born in Nigeria and started his career after college as a technical sale Chemical Engineer before migrating and settling in America as a pastor and an entrepreneur founding and managing companies of his own. He believes that poverty is manmade so his passion for alleviating the poverty in the third world led him to combine all his studies and firsthand experiences into a comprehensive curriculum for the restructuring of the leadership mindset in the third world countries in order to help create opportunities, prosperity, common wealth and free enterprise.

His experiences and living in America has further deepened his quest to bridge the gap between the third and developed world, which has led him into deep study not just about leadership and theology, but anthropology, philosophy, entrepreneurship, and psychology. He is currently a PhD candidate ,he and his wife Eka live in Acworth Georgia with their three children.

Dr. Thomas Mensah is an internationally recognized authority in Fiber Optics and Nanotechnology and also a renowned scientist and inventor with 7 USA and worldwide patents in Fiber Optics over a period of six years. He has at least 14 patents to his name in general He is the first black person to receive such number of patents in a short number of years, and was elected to the rank of Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors in the USA.

One of his patents based on boundary layer theory led to the replacement of Nitrogen inert gas with the more soluble carbon dioxide gas permitting optical fibers to be coated at ultra-high speed beyond 50 meters per second producing high strength fibers used for submarine and undersea cables that connect continents and countries, leading to a a robust seamless global infrastructure for the modern day high speed internet.

In one of his patents he used his understanding of boundary layer theory to design a high speed draw and coating manufacturing system that eliminated bubbles and defects in optical fibers. His Innovations allow any person with a cell phone or tablet to access the Internet easily from any place to receive Emails, Google Search information, YouTube videos, etc on the World Wide Web.

Fiber Optics is one of the greatest innovations in this century, since the internet depends on it. Over one billion people today are connected to the Internet because of fiber optics. All emails, YouTube videos, Tweets and Facebook pictures are transmitted by lasers on fiber optics networks; both terrestrial and submarine platforms to cell phones, tablets and personal computers worldwide.

As a leading Fiber Optics innovator, Dr. Mensah worked at both Corning Glass Works Inc, and AT&T Bell Laboratories

Thomas is currently the President and CEO of the Georgia Aerospace Systems, an Advanced Aerospace Composite manufacturing company which has supplied Nano composite materials structures for unmanned aerial vehicle systems for the US Department of Defense.
